If you’ve arrived at the site you may be already aware of what we’re all about by hearing about it from one of our members. But let’s fill you in on what’s happening:)
The Denver Music Society is a membership based group which allows us to leverage community sourced funding to bring in a variety of top shelf music acts to intimate and professional venues in Denver, Colorado.
Essentially, prospective members pay an annual due of 200$’s, and in return are directed to a form where they list their Top 10 dream concerts. Ie. artists, bands, or DJ’s who are their favorites of all time and that they would love to see perform in a smaller, more intimate club setting with between a 200-500 person capacity. And then they list how much they would be willing to pay to see those particular artists. Ticket prices will range from between 200-500 dollars.
The events will be proper dress coded affairs and even some black tie events and will offer space to dance and champagne bottle service to all our member guests.
When all of our members’ Top 10 artists lists are compiled and upvoted democratically in order of popularity, we here at Denver Music Society will contact each artist until an event is booked:) DMS Members will be notified via email of each new event and granted first right of refusal on any potential show we book, guaranteeing you a place at the event if you choose to purchase tickets within 48 hours of the announcement. If membership exceeds venue capacity, the tickets will be offered first in order to the members who had the featured artist listed in their personal Top 10 list. And then by lottery to the remaining members.
We are strongly committed to supporting local and regional acts as well and will be throwing plenty of concerts and parties throughout the year regarding which members will receive lovely discounts on ticket pricing through our ticketing portal, as well as merch perks and other bonuses:)
